First Blue Ridge is a Bible-driven, family-friendly church that is proclaiming the good news of the gospel...so that "we may present everyone complete in Christ Jesus." (Col. 1:28)

The mission of First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge is to be a united spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to teach, baptize, and disciple our community and beyond.

We get this from Jesus' commands in Matthew 28 verses 18-20 that read:
      ¹⁸And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  ¹⁹Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the age." Amen.
