         John and his wife, Jana joined the First Blue Ridge team on March 18, 2007 after accepting the call to serve as our Music Minister.  John earned two bachelor's degrees in Music Education from Lamar University in 1999.  He also completed his Master's of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004.  John and Jana were married on April 22, 2006 and reside in Garland, Texas.
         John's passion for ministry is to create an atmosphere of authentic worship that is not limited to the music or preaching services, but a lifestyle of praise that serves as a clear testimony to the world of the love of Jesus Christ that indwells each believe that is a member of First Baptist Church Blue Ridge.
